We've had a very successful sugaring season this year and have posted instructions on how to tap your own backyard trees (there are several types that can be tapped, not just maples), collect the sap, and boil it down to make your own heavenly tasting syrup. We've also included recipes for making two amazing treats: syrup butter and syrup ice cream. Bear shares photos of his french toast, bacon, and syrup sandwich concoction. This year's sugaring season is almost over, but our instructions will hopefully inspire you to be ready for next year. See: Making Syrup from Our Walnut Trees |
